Special Gifts on a Special Day
February 11, 2013 - The Susan Marie Rupp Foundation received two very touching donations today, on what would have been Susan's 55th birthday.
Patricia Bruno, a close friend of Susan's, recently celebrated her own birthday, and invited her friends and family to pledge their support against Ovarian Cancer. In lieu of gifts, Pat asked for donations in Susan's name, which was very thoughtful.
The Egg Harbor Township Youth Softball Association also presented a very remarkable donation in the fight to "Strike Out Ovarian Cancer" from the first ever Babe Ruth Xtreme Fastpitch Ovarian Cancer Awareness Tournament. Special thanks to Jeni Crites, Kathleen Glick, Kim Collins, Eileen Barone, Sandy Martini, Paul Deegler, John Stratten, Steve Glick, and Tabitha Dolby.
January 8, 2013 - Our first entry, "Faith, Hope, Love, and TEAL," was named "Best in Show" at The Tuckerton Seaport's "Festival of Trees."
Many thanks are due to all that visited during the month long contest and donated to support our tree and our cause. Over $300.00 was raised towards the fight against Ovarian Cancer.
December 7, 2012 - The Susan Marie Rupp Foundation wishes to send a BIG thank you (actually, 530 "thank you's") to The Cutting Room-Haircare by Lynee' & Co. for such a wonderful, thoughtful donation.
Together with their patrons, they raised $530.00 to help fund medical research that will advance the screening, treatment, cure, and prevention of Ovarian Cancer.
December 1, 2012 - The Tuckerton Seaport's "Festival of Trees" has its first TEAL Christmas tree this holiday season. The Susan Marie Rupp Foundation decorated our "Faith, Hope, Love, and TEAL" themed Ovarian Cancer Awareness tree.
The festival is open to the public, and all donations for our tree help support our mission. Over 30 trees decorated by various organizations will be on display from December 7, 2012 until January 6, 2013.

The Susan Marie Rupp Foundation sincerely appreciates Lynee' & Co.'s generosity to help spread Ovarian Cancer awareness. Please "like" their Facebook page above, patronize their business, and share with your friends, so they can achieve their goal of $500 for 500 new "likes."
September 30, 2012 - The first ever Babe Ruth Xtreme Fastpitch Ovarian Cancer Awareness Tournament was held in Egg Harbor Township over the weekend and saw an astounding turnout. The tournament hosted 15 teams throughout North Jersey, South Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York in the 18U, 16U, and 14U age divisions, allowing each team to bring home a championship while raising awareness for the cause.
Tournament Director Eileen Barone and her fellow board members are hoping that this tournament will become an annual event, and they are planning to host two more in the spring of 2013.
September 27, 2012 - The Susan Marie Rupp Foundation was invited to provide testimony in support of Bill #A-2161 before the Assembly, Women and Children Committee of the State of New Jersey's 215th Legislature in Trenton.
